A key component in becoming a better self-advocate is education. Self-advocacy is integral in improving the situation for ourselves and our family as it allows us to understand our personal strengths and weaknesses that could be communicated to others. Included below are several educational resources that can help with your familiarization of the various aspects of dementia, as well as guidance towards becoming a better-self advocate.
