Whether you have recently received a diagnosis of dementia, are embarking on the journey of supporting with a loved one, or are just interested in learning more about the experience of living with dementia, Dementia Conversations is a place for you! Join us in a friendly space where no expertise is necessary and where there are no bad questions. Big news! Dementia Friendly Nevada is launching a new
Dementia Conversations series, titled
“Dementia Conversations – Recorded”
and we want you to join us!
“Dementia Conversations – Recorded” will, just like our two existing Dementia Conversations groups, meet regularly to talk about strategies for living well with dementia. However, unlike our other groups, the conversations will be recorded and made available via a library of conversation topics on the Dementia Friendly Nevada website. As “Dementia Conversations – Recorded” continues to meet, the library of topics will grow and grow! Anyone interested in watching a conversation will be able to do so by selecting their topic of interest.
We are looking for anyone who is interested in joining “Dementia Conversations – Recorded”, and who would be alright with participating in a recorded conversation
about living well with dementia once per month!
If you’re a person living with dementia, a family care partner, or a community member who is interested in sharing your experiences with other group members, other Nevadans, and other people around the world, email Dementia Friendly Nevada Program Coordinator Casey Acklin
